Ellen Moorehead - Ellen Moorehead passed away peacefully on Feb. 22, 2009. Cherished wife, of over 62 years, of the late Harold "Hal""" Moorehead, Jr. who passed away January 2, 2008. Loving mother of Harold """Hal""" Moorehead III and his wife Jayne of Big Horn, WY. Dedicated grandmother of Eric B. Moorehead and Alison A. Moorehead. Sister of the late Eugene Schlieske. Survived by her good friend Kathy, mother of Eric and Alison. "" As per her wishes there will not be a service. With her loving husband Hal by her side, Ellen was involved in many community activities: Co-founder of Friends of Our Hospital, an affiliate of Petaluma Valley Hospital Foundation, founder of the Council for Community Television, and Editor of two editions of Sonoma County -- Its Bounty cookbooks.
