Ernest L. Burmester

Ernest L. "Ernie" Burmester - Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, April 22, 2008, beloved husband for 60 years of Alice Riebli Burmester. Loving father of Sharon Dado (John) and Rick Burmester. Adored grandfather of John Dado (Elizabeth) and Craig Dado (Linda). Cherished great grandfather of Teke Dado, Remi Dado, Gage Dado, Isabel Enriquez, Charlie Dado and Sonya Dado. Beloved brother of Molly Smith, Ben Burmester, Doris Nathan, Bob Burmester and the late Ann Wakeman, Carl Burmester and Conrad Burmester. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie Burmester, lifelong Petaluma resident passed away at the age of 96 years. Reared and educated in Petaluma, he served in the U.S. Army during World War Two. Ernie was a poultryman for over 50 years until his retirement 20 years ago. He enjoyed golf, gardening, stained glass and wood working.
