Ernest is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served as a Seabee during the Korean Conflict. His memberships included the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, the Free & Accepted Mason"s-Columbia Brotherhood Lodge #370, The San Francisco Scottish Rite, Asiya Shriner"s (having served as Past Potentate in 2004), the Royal Order of Jesters, Past President of the Swedish American Patriotic League and Past Director of the Asiya Shrine Clowns. Ernest has resided in the Sonoma county community for the past thirteen years.
