Estelle Marino was born November 8, 1923 on her father, John Camotta's dairy ranch in Bodega. She was the youngest of seven children, with five sisters and one brother.
Estelle attended Bay Hill School in Bodega and after her parents moved to Sebastopol, she attended Gold Ridge, Pleasant Hill, and Analy High schools. She worked at Vacu-Dry in Sebastopol and also served on the election board at Willow Side School for several years. On June 8, 1946, Estelle married Frank R. Marino in the old St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Sebastopol. Attendants were Alfred Marino, best man; Carmelita Camotta Montafi, maid-of-honor; Rose Gonella, bride's maid; nephew Jim Dei, ring man; and niece Betty Perry, flower girl.
Estelle and Frank were in the dairy business in Sebastopol. In 1947 they moved to a dairy ranch in Lakeville, CA. In 1952, they returned to Sebastopol to the Exchange Bank Dairy on Llano Road and then in 1965 they moved to Kelly Ranch on Sebastopol Road. In 1977, the city of Santa Rosa condemned the dairy by "Imminent Domain."
She loved to cook and was an avid interior decorator. She enjoyed going to the SBC Park to watch the games, at which she took many movies. She also filmed some home movies at Ives Park when her three sons played games there.
Survived by sons Dennis, Richard (Lenny), and Raymond (Belinda) Marino; grandchildren Kelly, Michael, and Haley Marino, Richie and Michael Fowler, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service on Wednesday, December 14 at 4:00 pm with Visitation hours offered from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary, 301 S. Main St., Sebastopol. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Sebastopol. Interment at Sebastopol Memorial Lawn.
