Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, September 8, 2021, beloved wife of the late James L. Agius, Sr. Adored mother of James L. Agius, Jr.(Maureen) and Cynthia A. Reynolds (Richard). Cherished grandmother of Jamie Smith (Dean), Mary Reynolds, Margaret Pierattini (Nico), John Reynolds (Kinyatta), Mark Reynolds (Barbara), James L. Agius III and the late Dominic Agius. Loving great grandmother of Camille, Jada, Nyah Estelle, Kingston, Ruth and Helena Reynolds and Emma and Owen Smith. Dear sister of Shirley Dingwall (late Thomas). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Age 93 years. “Topsy”, a well- known member of the Agius family who operated Agius Grocery for nearly 40 years, enjoyed her family, friends and a good party. She was known for her enjoyment of the horse races at her box seats at the Sonoma County Fair and playing bingo.
Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY and CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to the Funeral Service, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5 Liberty St., Petaluma. Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family wish to express their appreciation to Topsy’s caregiver, Seniseya L. Taukei, her physician, Dr. James Leoni, Wendi Thomas of Petaluma Valley Hospital and Hospice of Petaluma for all of their care and loving support. Memorials preferred to the Petaluma Valley Hospital Foundation, c/o Emergency Department.
