Esther J. Gambonini - Passed away in Petaluma, CA., September 15, 2007, beloved wife of the late Earl Gambonini. Adored mother of Patricia Wells and her husband, Lowell of Petaluma, George Gambonini and his wife, Margaret of Petaluma, Sister Bette Gambonini BVM of Sunnyvale, Alice Schwander and her husband, F. Michael of Elk Grove and Teresa Sartori and her husband Ralph of Petaluma. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 21. Loving sister of Ralph Giacomini of Olema and the late Fred Giacomini, Waldo Giacomini, Toby Giacomini, Vivian Cetani and Joseph Giacomini. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Petaluma, CA. Age 90 years. Esther was a homemaker who lived with her husband Earl on their dairy, where they raised five children. She loved her beautiful garden and shared her flowers with others. She loved to travel, make crafts, and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. James Parish, St. Vincent YLI #108, CLAS, Lakeville Happy-Go-Lucky Club, St. James Ladies Guild and St. Vincent Motherâ??s Club. Family and friends are invited to attend the Vigil Service, Wednesday September 19, 2007 at 7:30 P.M. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefers memorials be made to the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1100 Carmel Drive, Dubuque, Iowa 52003.
