Eugene L. Wilson - Eugene Wilson went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2007. Devoted husband of June Wilson of Rohnert Park, to whom he was married for 65 years. Loving father of Jo Ann Johnson and her husband Ed of Petaluma. Dedicated grandfather of Pamela Nelson of Rohnert Park. Dear brother of Wilbur Wilson of Tacoma, WA, Ember (Tom) Huchala of Seattle, WA, Elaine (Leonard) McClish of Moraga, CA, and Ellen ( Richard) Germain also of Seattle, WA. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd., Dixon, CA on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon International Memorial Bible Plan, P.O. Box 2143, Petaluma, CA 94953. Eugene was a member of First Baptist Church of Petaluma for 35 years. He volunteered with Boy Scouts of America, Redwood Gospel Mission board in Santa Rosa and Radio Station KEAR FM in SF. He was a member of Berry Creek Community Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Oroville, CA.
