Evelyn G. Hansen - Died peacefully at home in Petaluma, Ca., April 29, 2009, beloved wife of the late Clark E. Hansen. Loving mother of Vernon C. Hansen and his wife, Kathy and Beverly J. Deniz and her husband, Ernest all of Petaluma. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Soper, Lucas Deniz and his wife, Lisa, Becky Deniz, Vicky Deniz Prior and her husband, Frank, Edward Deniz, Shay Hansen Ribeiro and her husband Mark and Chad Hansen. Beloved great grandmother of Kristina Soper, Steven Soper, Darren Deniz, Emily and Abigail Prior. Loving sister of Phil Vondrak and Florence Schroeder both of Iowa and the late Francis, Gilbert, Harold, Eldon, Floyd, Donald Vondrak, Shirley Clarey, Gladys Niles and Lucien Maxey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, with the Vigil Service being held at 7:00 P.M. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma. Interment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma , St. James Church Building Fund or to your favorite charity. A native of Sioux City, Iowa. Age 88 years.
