Evelyn D. Lambright

Evelyn D. Lambright - Long time Petaluma resident Evelyn Doris Lambright died in the arms of her loving granddaughter, Genevieve, at sunrise, March 7th, 2010. She was 90 years old. Evelyn enjoyed playing the piano, gave piano lessons out of her home and, for a time, performed with the Harmoniers and Harmonettes. She was patriotic, enjoyed flying the American Flag in front of her home, and proudly supported the U.S. Military. More than anything, she enjoyed the company of family, friends, and neighbors. In her latter years, the Sunday night card game with friends Bonnie, Leah and Ann was the big event of the week! She will surely be missed! There will be a Memorial Service Tuesday, March 16th, 11:00 A.M. at the Petaluma Methodist Church, 4th and D St. in Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America or the USO. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Harold B. Lambright, and daughters Susan Cowart, and Patricia Miranda, and son in law Alvino Miranda. She is survived by daughter Marjorie Pineo (Scott), son Rod Lambright (Gladys), grandchildren Genevieve, Alvin, and James Miranda, Irmgard Hoskins, Emily Waters, Carlos Pineo, Mathew Cowart, and nephews Dennis, Jim and Stephen Lambright, and nieces Kathy Alexander and Linda Lambright.
