Evelyn Mary Lawson

Evelyn Mary Lawson - Born in Petaluma CA, on October 8th, 1922, Evelyn passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 18th, 2011 following a brief illness. Beloved wife of 65 years to Carl J. Lawson. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Scott, Brothers Garfield, Clifford, and Robert Scott and son-in-law of Alan G. Ochr(39)Kelley. Evelyn attended Eureka Elementary School in Petaluma and Petaluma High School. She worked for Petaluma Poultry Producers and owned and operated Lawson"s Corner with her husband located at Hwy 12 and Melita Rd in Santa Rosa from 1946 to 1983. Evelyn enjoyed entering slot machine tournaments, collecting antiques, playing bridge, entertaining family and friends in their home. She also spent many hours gardening and watching nature at its best from their backyard. She was a member of Rincon Valley PTA, the Shriner"s Oriental Band Sheba"s, and the First Presbyterian Church since 1951. Evelyn and Carl traveled to Ireland to visit Evelyn"s relatives and they enjoyed going on cruises and their fishing trips in Canada and Mexico.
