Evelyn passed away September 15, 2016 at West County Medical Center. Evelyn grew up in Sonoma County on dairy ranches; a lifestyle she lovingly embraced. She was born in Sausalito December 20, 1937 to Tony and Ida Perry who predeceased her.
She worked for many years at Dinucci's restaurant where she enjoyed lasting friendships that she cherished throughout her life. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, and many needlepoint projects, creating beautiful pieces that she generously gifted to family and friends.
Evelyn was never one to miss a family gathering, making sure she visited with all the family members attending. She grew up with six siblings, loved her large family, and always made sure she checked in on them.
In 2003, she moved her home to Burbank Heights Senior Housing and completely enjoyed the sense of community that it offered her. She will be missed by many friends at Burbank.
Evelyn leaves her son, Joe Emmons, loving brother John Perry, her niece Donna Rinnels (Rick), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Evelyn was predeceased by her children Cheryl, Tony, Art, and Cindy Emmons. Her brothers Melvin and Lewis Perry, sisters Dolores Peracca, Virginia Lovelace, and Irene Dehner, and her companion and dear friend, Charlie Kieffer.
