Florence T. Yamasaki

Passed away on September 28, 2014 in Petaluma. Devoted wife of the late Sam Yamasaki. Cherished mother of Raymond Yamasaki (Caroline) and Lloyd Yamasaki of Petaluma. Beloved sister of Marian Ishizu (Curly), Alyce Sugiyama, Lorraine Yamasaki of Petaluma, and the late Henry Yamasaki (Lila) and James Yamasaki. Loving sister-in-law of Yoshiko Yamasaki and the late Harry Sugiyama. Survived by several nieces, nephews, and their children. Age: 97 years. A member of: Enmanji Buddhist Temple, Sonoma County JACL, and Enman No Tomo. A lifelong Sonoma County resident, Florence and her husband Sam owned and operated an egg ranch in Petaluma before Sam became a gardener. A gregarious person, she enjoyed and appreciated the many visits from family and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, November 15, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Enmanji Temple, 1200 Gravenstein Hwy. S., Sebastopol, CA 95472. Private Inurnment.
