Floyd E. Moore - Passed away on April 26, 2011 in Petaluma. Born in Lonoke, Arkansas. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and later served 18 years in the U.S. Army Reserves. He worked for 36 years for the Municipal Railway of San Francisco, ten of those years as a Cable Car Gripman. Floyd retired as Major, from his many years as a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Entombment: Cypress Hill Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Lorna Moore; his loving children, Kathleen Moore (Bob) and Debra Moore all of San Francisco, Susan Sheridan (Jim) of New York, Daniel Moore (Rachel) and Kelly Engledow (Burt) all of San Diego; loving family member, Agnes Moore of San Francisco; cousins Josephine and Gene Henson of Oklahoma City, OK; niece Chrystal Caldwell; brother-in-law Richard Garibaldi; sister Floriene Spence (Ralph); brother Bill Moore. He is the proud Grandpa of Jena, Shaun, Liam, Ellie, Malia, Russell, Caleb, Colton and Abigail. He is also survived by his cherished friends of the Cable Car/Muni luncheons and his Army Reserve buddies.
