Frances Lucille Ibleto

"In strength she lived among us and in strength she fell into God's Hands". With her family by her side, Frances died peacefully at the age of 82, on June 21, 2013. Born Frances Lucille Corda, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina Corda, members of the pioneer Corda family of Marin and Sonoma Counties. She attended Lincoln School and graduated from Petaluma High School, Class of 1949. Her first job was at Volpi's Grocery Store and she later worked as a cheese wrapper at the Marin French Cheese Factory. After her marriage on April 20, 1965 to Angelo Ibleto, she became the backbone of the family business, Angelo's Meats, where "she did everything". Her family have fond memories of Frances as being a wonderful cook, baker, preparing her Christmas trays of homemade candies, enjoying the S.F. 49 ers and whenever she got the chance, she loved to dance. She was also known for sending cards to her many friends and family members on all occasions. A member of the NDGW and the Sons of Italy. She is survived by her husband, Angelo Ibleto of Petaluma, daughters, Angela Dellinger and Alison Ibleto both of Petaluma. Cherished grandmother of Jake Dellinger and Bill Dellinger who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Corda and Marie Corda. Loving sister in law of Ann Corda of Novato, and Arturo and Victoria Ibleto of Cotati. Her beloved caregiver, Carol Smith also survives. Frances is survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The Vigil Service will be Wednesday, at 7:30 pm at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family prefer memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma or the Ag Dept. of Petaluma High School.
