Frances Maurine Lones

On February 27, 2016, Frances Maurine Lones passed away unexpectedly at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Frances was born in Ukiah, CA. on September 29, 1914. She was one of four children, and her father, Dr. William F. Meyer, was an astronomy professor at U.C. Berkeley. Frances was the devoted wife of Frank E. Lones, M.D., and loving mother to their four daughters. Widowed in 1975, Frances then traveled extensively and served the Santa Rosa Community for 40 more years. Frances was preceded in death by her husband and daughters, Linda and Francine. She is survived by daughters Marian and Bonnie, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Frances was everyone's role model, living her life of 101 years with dignity and grace. Per her request, a small family gathering took place to honor her life achievements.
