Frank Paul Bellante Jr.

Frank started his life in San Francisco with his parents Frank and Rose Bellante, sister Angela and brother Anthony. He was born in North Beach, San Francisco and raised in Westlake District, Daly City.  He is a graduate of Westmoore High School, class of 1962. After attending San Francisco State he went on to become a middle school teacher teaching math and wood shop.  During the summers, he would drive for Mother Cookies as a relief driver.  It wasn’t long before he left teaching to drive fulltime for Mothers.  After some years, he was promoted to District Sales Manager where he won numerous awards as salesman of the year.  He loved his job deeply and took great pride in serving this once wonderful cookie company.

Anyone who knew Frank knew he loved to remodel, rebuild, make more efficient, and expand every home and garden he ever lived in. In his off time, Frank remained a lifelong Yankee baseball and Notre Dame football fan.

Frank was the loving husband to Carolyn for over 30 years, father to Dana Machado (husband, Eric) and Nonno to Renee and Dante Machado and Papa to Kyle Forrester. He is also survived by his step-daughter Nicole Rae-Forrester, brother Anthony Bellante (wife Suzalyn) and niece Amber Bellante.

He immensely enjoyed spending time with family at their Tahoe house and everyday gatherings.  Alzheimer's disease came like a thief in the night and stole the last two years of his life. In the end, he passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on January 22, 2025.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.  You can remember him whenever the sun is shining and with a gentle breeze in the air.  You may just hear him say, “It's just another day in paradise.”

A Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma, CA 94952. Following Mass, we invite you to Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma, CA 94952. A reception will be held at Petaluma Valley Baptist Church, 580 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy, Petaluma, CA.
