Frank F. Fahy - Passed away on February 6, 2012 in Rohnert Park. Devoted husband of Helena Fahy of Rohnert Park. Cherished father of Sean Fahy (Shelly) of Potter Valley, Eamon Fahy (Pamela) of San Pablo, Michael Fahy of Eureka, Brian Fahy of Los Angeles, and Paul Fahy (Gwen) of Atascadero. Adored grandfather of Autumn, Thade, Frank, Vincent, Noleena, and Angela. Beloved great-grandfather of Clarity. Loving brother of Angela Adkins of FL and predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Survived by numerous relatives in Ireland, England, and the US.
Frank was born, reared and educated in Co. Galway, Ireland, but moved to the CA in 1948. On October 30, 1954, he married Helena in San Francisco and together they enjoyed 57 years of marriage. During the Korean War, Frank enlisted in the US Army. In Korea, he was wounded and spent over a year in the hospital recovering. For his service, he received the Purple Heart. Frank worked for PG&E for 42 years as a supervisor of the gas department, retiring in 1990. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, taking walks, and was an avid sports fan. Frank was a strong and quiet man, who was devoted to his family. He was a great man and will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 4595 Snyder Ln., Rohnert Park.
