Frank Leroy Glazier, a third generation Petaluman, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 28, 2016 at the age of 82. Frank was born on November 26, 1933 in Petaluma and was the Grandson of early Petaluma immigrant settlers who arrived in Petaluma in the 1880's. He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Beatrice (Bea) Winn Glazier and is survived by his son Corben (Teri) Glazier, daughter Deneane (Mark) Ashcraft, grandchildren Amanda Glazier, Jarrod Mertens, Felicia Glazier, Stevie (Samantha) Mertens and Cathleen (Marcus) Schreier, many great-grandchildren and brother-in-law Delbert (Julie) Winn.
Frank was a Korean War Veteran. In the 1960s and 1970s he built custom homes with partner Ken Goltermann and later founded Glazier & Glazier Builders Inc. He was also a cattleman, an avid outdoorsman, and an antique enthusiast.
Interment will be private. A public viewing will be held at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary on Wednesday, November 2nd between the hours of 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held at 50 Fallon Road, Petaluma on Frank's 83rd birthday, Saturday, November 26th at 11:00 AM.
