Frank Allan Johnson

Frank Allan Johnson, age 82, was granted his angel wings on February 4th, 2022.He was surrounded by his family in the home.    Frank Johnson was born on January 23, 1940 in Calistoga, CA   He attended Calistoga High School as a record breaking three sport athlete. He spent four years in the army overseas and then returned to Calistoga in 1961 to meet the love of his life, Candie Mee. They were married on 9/9/1961 for 60 lovely years. He was a devoted husband that dedicated his life to his wife, four sons, and grandchildren.    He enjoyed watching his sons and grandchildren excel in Petaluma sports. He enjoyed fishing with his friend, Hugh and hunting with his boys, family, and friends. He was always at the BBQ cooking food for Sunday family dinners and his favorite the 4th of July. His special homemade recipe was, "Papa's Delight." He is survived by his loving wife Candie Johnson, four sons: Kenny, Steve, Michael, and Frankie, four .Daughter-in-laws, four grandsons, six granddaughters, four great grandchildren: and his brother,  Robert Johnson.   In lieu of flowers please donate to Providence Hospice of Petaluma at 416 Payran Street Petaluma Ca 94952.    A service will be held on Friday, March 25th at 11:00 at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma, Ca 94952 and following a celebration of life open to all that loved him.
