Frank M. "Skook" Skinner, Jr. - Frank Skinner passed away suddenly on July 15, 2008 after a short illness. Loving husband of JoAnn Skinner of Vacaville and former husband of Helen Skinner of Petaluma. Beloved father of Rhonda Toronto and her husband Larry of Petaluma, Frank Skinner III and his companion Sherry O'Donnell of Petaluma. The 'best' step-father to Rita Holder and her husband Terry of Dixon, Matt Matzen and his wife Elizabeth of Sacramento, Carl Matzen and his wife Ivonne of Santa Rosa and Brenda Zanders and her husband Jim of Laytonville, CA. Survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Loretta Brower, Betty Skinner, Ann Wernhardt, Rowena Thornton, Pete Skinner and the late Bob Johnson, "Bud""" Skinner and Fred Skinner. "" "Skook""" was born in San Francisco and graduated from Tamalpias High School. He joined the Navy shortly thereafter and was sent to Korea for 2 years as a corpsman. After returning from Korea he joined the Air Force and went to Vietnam. He retired after 22 years of dedicated service. He then joined the US Postal Service and was a Letter Carrier for over 25 years in the Rohnert Park area. ""
