Fred P. Rodoni

Fred P. Rodoni - Surrounded by loved ones, Fred passed away peacefully at home in Point Reyes Station, CA on June 1, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Regina Agnes Rodoni, loving father of Arlene Rodoni Phillips, Joyce Rodoni Clapp (Rich), Fred Rodoni Jr. (Karen), Dennis Rodoni (Judy) and Alma Rodoni (Jonathan Aaronson). Cherished grandfather of Erin Rodoni (Yatindra Pandya), Ryan Rodoni, Megan Rodoni (James Parnow), Libby Rodoni, Chris Phillips, Julia and April Aaronson. Preceded in death by his siblings, Patrick Rodoni, Julius Rodoni and Adeline Arndt. Fred is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Vigil Service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Olema, Monday evening at 6:30 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Entombment, Olema Cemetery. The family prefers memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Helping Hands, Hospice of Petaluma or West Marin Senior Services. A native of Butte, Montana and resident of Point Reyes Station since 1925. Two of Fred's lifelong passions were dancing and baseball, which he played with a local West Marin softball team until the age of 80. Fred was a co-founder of the Tomales Booster's Club, longtime Treasurer of the Point Reyes Village Association, Former Director of West Marin Senior Services, member of the West Marin Lions Club and Nicasio Druids, and a Little League coach for 20 years.
