Frederick J. Plourde

Frederick J. Plourde, 79, a long time Petaluma resident passed away on January 11, 2020. He was the husband of Rene Plourde. They spent 55 years of marriage together. Fred was born in New Hampshire to Alfred and Olivine Plourde. He moved to California in 1960 and settled in Petaluma in 1964. Fred was a hard working painting contractor, owning his own business (Picture Perfect Painting and F&R Painting) for 47 years.

Fred was a loving husband, father and Papa. He is survived by his wife, Rene Plourde, his sons Mark Plourde, Freddie (Sharron) Plourde, Daniel Coleman Plourde, grandsons Justin Plourde, Trenton Plourde, Joshua Coleman, Colson Plourde, Lucas Coleman and Chase Plourde. He was preceded in death by his sons Brett Coleman, Kelly Coleman and Michael Coleman.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 pm (open house) on February 29, 2020 at 2243 Nectarine Drive in Santa Rosa. Memorial donation in lieu of flowers may be made in his name to Hospice by the Bay, 17 E. Sir Francis Drake Blvd., Larkspur, CA 94939; www.hospicebythebay.org.
