Gary George Wilson

GARY GEORGE WILSON passed away on April 30, 2017 in Santa Rosa at the age of 65 years.  Devoted husband of Lorinda Wilson of Santa Rosa.  Cherished father of Lorhonda Brentwood (Bryan), George Wilson, and Leslie Hatch (Brian).  Adored papa to Nathan, Noah, Lily, and Briley.  Beloved son of Jane Wilson and the late Gilbert Wilson.  Loving brother of Marilyn Geney (Steve), Garland Wilson (Debbie) and the late Holland Wilson and Carolyn Wilson.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary was born in Santa Rosa, but reared and educated in Sebastopol, graduating from Analy High School.  After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country.  On February 2, 1974, Gary married the love of his life, Lorinda, and together they enjoyed 43 years of marriage.  He worked in the Laborer’s Union, Local 139 for over 25 years, retiring in 2010.  An avid sports fan, Gary could be found rooting for his Giants, 49ers, Warriors, or Dale Earnhardt, Jr.  Above all, Gary was a dedicated husband, father and friend.  He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  A reception will follow.  Private Inurnment.
