George Charles Bacigalupi, Jr.

BACIGALUPI, JR., George C. Passed away suddenly, April 1, 2015 in Petaluma, CA. Son of the late Kate and George Bacigalupi Sr. Loving brother of Sue Edwards (Charles), Betty Nye and the late Stella Almeida. Beloved uncle of Paul Nye (Debbie), Bob Almeida, David Edwards (Hong) and the late Pam Nye. Great uncle of Joey and Will Nye and Conner Edwards. A native of San Francisco, CA. George attended elementary school in Novato and graduated from San Rafael High School. A Sonoma County resident since 1956, he was a bookkeeper for over 25 years, retiring as a partner with Frontier Electric. He enjoyed growing vegetables for family and friends, and curing olives and making olive oil from his trees. An avid Giants and 49'r fan, he was a former member of the Petaluma Pacers, volunteered at the Cotati Drag Racing Strip and most of all known to many for his great sense of humor. He was 77 years of age. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 12:00 PM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday, prior to the service. Entombment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma, CA. The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma or to your favorite charity.
