George E. Husary

George E. Husary - George E. Husary, 67 of Petaluma died at his home on December 13, 2008 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Husary came to Petaluma in 1982 from his native Palestine with his wife, Josephine and their five children. He attended college in Sweden and instructed auto mechanics in Jerusalem prior to coming to California. He and the family operated grocery stores and an auto repair business in Petaluma until 2000. He was known by his numerous neighborhood customers for his outgoing personality and the family atmosphere to be found whenever you entered his store. Husary is survived by his wife Josephine of Petaluma, sons Elias and Nader, both of Petaluma, daughters Vivian, of Petaluma, Lillian of San Francisco and Marian of Novato, and eight grandchildren.
