George Itsuo Imoto

Passed away in Petaluma, CA, February 14, 2014, beloved husband of the late Violet Gladys Imoto. Loving father of Fred (Lori) Imoto of Napa. Cherished grandfather of Keli (Mike) Manfred. Dear great grandfather of Adeline Manfred. Step father of Jan (Jim) Leach of New Mexico. Step grandfather of Randy (Kathy) Woods and Michelle (Rico) Orton. Step great grandfather of Josh Youngblood. Beloved brother of Ruth Kinoshita of Cotati and preceded in death by five siblings. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of California. Age 87 years. George was involved in the poultry industry, truck driving and the auto body repair business prior to his retirement. He was a volunteer for over 20 years with "Meals On Wheels" and recently volunteered at the Petaluma Senior Center. He was a member of the Koyasan Temple of Sacramento. Private family services were held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORUTARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma. Private inurnment was at Cypress Hill Memorial Park. The family prefer memorials be made to "Meals On Wheels" or to the Petaluma Senior Center.
