George Fred Myles

George Fred Myles - Passed away in Petaluma on April 27, 2008. Beloved husband of Gladys Myles of Penngrove, CA. Loving father of Andy Myles (Carol) and Margaret Shepherd (Art), of Penngrove, CA. Caring grandfather of Scott Shepherd (Toni) of Petaluma, Dawn Thompson (Brian) of Penngrove, CA, Freddie Myles (Niki) of Rohnert Park, CA, Patrick Shepherd of Penngrove, CA, and Joe Myles of Penngrove, CA. Beloved great-grandfather of Devin Thompson. Loving brother of Virginia Cerini of Willits, CA, and Lorene Winkler (Bud) of Santa Rosa, CA. A resident of Penngrove, Mr. Myles graduated from Petaluma High School in 1941. He became a dairy rancher, and later in life he and his wife Gladys owned and operated Penngrove Hay and Grain for 23 years. Mr. Myles was a member of the Penngrove Social Firemen and of the Sonoma County Trailblazers. He had the honor of receiving the first Annual Jordan Smith Memorial Award from the Trailblazers organization.
