George Thomas Peterson

George "Pete" Peterson, at age 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep.  Pete had a sense of humor like no other.

Pete was born and raised in San Francisco before moving and settling in Marin County.

Pete’s passion was working.  He owned his own barbershop and enjoyed his security job in San Francisco.  He loved being where the action was.

Pete leaves behind his daughter, Traci Oncina (Joe); son, Geof Peterson; grandchildren Olivia Marquez and Isabelle and Zachary Moreno; great-granddaughter Ava Marquez; sister Maryellen Nifong and twin sister Joni Martin; and his friend for life, Patti Peterson.  Pete was predeceased by his son, Todd, in 2012.

Services may be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Marin Humane Society.  Private Inurnment.
