George W. Wagner

George W. Wagner - Born to Sophie and George Wagner Sr. in Cicero, IL on March 17, 1922. Died February 13, 2010 in Petaluma, CA. In 1941, George joined the Army and was shipped to CA. His first taste of life in CA was atop the RCA building in Point Reyes. He was then transferred to Dillon Beach, CA before being shipped off to Italy and North Africa. It was while stationed at Dillon Beach that he met Katherine "Kitty""" O'Connor. They were married on July 25, 1942. "" At his request, no services will be held. After the War, he returned to Petaluma where he was hired in 1948 by the Petaluma Police Department. He retired as a lieutenant in 1977 and then worked security for Clover-Stornetta Farms. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
