Geraldine Lapuz

GERALDINE LAPUZ passed away on December 10, 2015 in Rio Vista. Devoted wife of Bonifacio Lapuz. Cherished mother of Chris Lapuz (Stephanie), Janet Kerrigan (Patrick), and Eric Lapuz (Maryam). Beloved grandmother of Taylor, Justin, and Connor Kerrigan; and Grace, Ella, Lucie, and Sebastian Lapuz. Loving sister of the late Floice and Lois. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Age: 70 years. Geraldine was born, reared and educated in Boaz, AL. After high school, she moved to CA. Not long after settling in CA, she met and married the love of her life, Bonifacio, and together they've enjoyed 49 years of marriage. Geraldine worked as a clerk for many years for Home Depot. A voracious reader, her spare time was filled by reading books and satisfying her sweet tooth. She was fun-loving, people person who enjoyed being around others, and for that, she was well liked and respected. Above all, Geraldine loved her family. She was a wonderful woman; she will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 2:30 pm at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
