Gino George Fazio

January 4, 1927 — February 12, 2021

Our dear father passed away peacefully at the age of 94. Gino was a native San Franciscan and spent his life in the Bay Area. His parents immigrated from Italy and raised Gino along with his sister and two brothers. Gino attended Galileo High School in San Francisco and served in the US Navy during WWII, with active duty in the Pacific theatre aboard the USS Bunker Hill. After WWII, Gino married Gail, his wife of 56 years, and raised his sons Rick and Steve. In his later years, he married Charlotte ("Chickie") Lewis and enjoyed his life in Petaluma, surrounded by friends and new extended family. Gino was an automobile enthusiast and worked in the auto industry for over 35 years. He had a great many friends and enjoyed social activities throughout the Bay Area, such as the Italian-American Club, Elk's Club, and 49'er & Giants games. Gino's love of laughter, warmth, and generosity made him a loving father and dear friend of many, and he will be missed greatly. Gino is survived by his wife Charlotte, sister Gerry, sons Rick and Steven, stepchildren Kristina, Kurt, Kraig, and Kristopher Beale, and earlier wife, Gail. Due to Covid, there will not be a public service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
