Gladys Vivian Buletti

Gladys Vivian Buletti was born July 11, 1924 in Hicks Valley, California to Rocco F Bassi and Adelina J. Nonella (Della). Gladys passed away peacefully at home with her family around her. She was 92. She married Chester Buletti on June 7, 1952. They had two children. They were married for 60 years until his passing in 2013. She is survived by her son Rocco Buletti (Cheryl), three grandsons, Gregory Buletti (Catherine), Michael Buletti (Jessica), and Jeffery Buletti, and three great-grandchildren Emily, Alexander and Isabella. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom are all her favorite. She is preceded in death by her parents Rocco and Adelina Bassi, her sister Jean Crescini (Louie), Mabel Ghisletta (Stephen), Stella Cella (Edmund), Irene Bundesen (William), and her brother Rocco Bassi, and her daughter Adelina Buletti. Gladys received the Honorary Service award at the Bellevue PTA for all her service at the school. She did fund raisers for the band, Westside little league and many other fund raisers. She was a very busy lady. She also took care of over 102 children for over 50 years. She was also very active with helping out at the Catholic Church fund raisers. Gladys loved sewing crocheting, cooking and was an avid gardener. She enjoyed listening to SF Giants games on the radio. But what she really enjoyed was a HOT cup of coffee! She will be missed by many for her generosity and was always there to give a helping hand. She will forever be in our hearts as a kind and loving mom, grandma and great-grandma. We will miss her dearly. The family would like to thank Santa Rosa Memorial Hospice, especially RN Heather for all her support and kindness. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty Street, Petaluma, CA. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma, CA. The family requests donations be sent to the Elsie Allen Ag Boosters, 599 Bellevue Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95407 or a charity of their choice. Mass
