Glenn H. Lindblad - LINDBLAD, GLENN H." Entered into rest peacefully at home in Santa Rosa, CA on June 30, 2009, surrounded by his wife of sixty-one years and his three children. He is survived by the love of his life, Betty, his three children; Kathie, Eric (and his wife, Judy) and Charlene (and her husband, Bill), as well as his loving grandchildren; Josh (and his wife, Johni), Jesse (and his wife, Elyssa), Shannon (and her husband, Robert), Tara, Alex and Dane. Glenn also leaves behind seven adored great grandchildren. He was born in La Jolla, CA on August 16, 1928. He was a friend to all and loved children and animals. Glenn was a great conversationalist and could form lasting friendships and hearty comraderie with everyone he met. Glenn began his career as a lumberman, working for Western Lumber in San Diego, CA advancing to manager of Bosie Cascade Building Materials in Pacific Beach, CA. After retirement, Glenn and Betty moved to Santa Rosa twenty-one years ago to be close to their children and grandchildren.
