Glenna Sue Sorensen

GLENNA SUE SORENSEN passed away on June 22, 2018 in Santa Rosa at the age of 84 years.  Devoted wife of the late Bill Sorensen.  Dear companion of Fred Jim Boom.  Cherished mother of Billy Sorensen (Janine).  Adored grandmother of Taylor Sorensen, Samantha McCready and Peyton McCready. Beloved great-grandmother of Kayden and Clayton Giannini.  Loving sister of Donnie Fitzgerald.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Glenna was born, in Poteau, OK, but has lived in Sonoma County for the last 50 years.  She and her family owned and operated Showers Coffee Shop in Petaluma for many years.  More recently, Glenna worked in catering during the Rotary Club of Novato’s meetings.  She valued hard work, but above all, she loved her family.  She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 2455 Bennett Valley Rd., Santa Rosa, CA 95404.
