Gloria Brumbley

Gloria Brumbley - Surrounded by her family, Mrs. Brumbley passed away at her home in Rohnert Park after a lengthy battle with cancer. Devoted wife of the late Robert Brumbley. Beloved mother of Tara Gagnon and her husband Jeff, Keith Brumbley, Craig Brumbley and the late Matthew Brumbley. Cherished grandmother of Connor and Quinn Gagnon. Loving sister and best friend of Audrey Kane, Paul Krause, Dolores Barrett, and the late Joe Krause and Geraldine Giusti. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brumbley was a docent at the Luther Burbank Center. She volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels and as the secretary for the St. Anthony Farm. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She handled her illness with grace and dignity and always remained positive. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Laisa Bulamaibau, and to Hospice of Petaluma. She was 72 years old. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 150 St. Joseph Way, Cotati on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. A visitation will be held at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA on Thursday, July 19, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Interment will take place at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA or to Catholic Charities Womenâ??s Shelter.
