Entered into the joy of the Lord on June 22, 2014 at her home in Rohnert Park at the age of 87. She was born Gloria Woelkers in Scranton, Pennsylvania on May 20, 1927; the fifth of ten children to Leo and Catherine Woelkers. She moved to San Anselmo, CA in 1947. Gloria worked as a telephone operator at Pacific Bell in San Rafael. She married Philip Fahy on June 25, 1949 and they lived in San Anselmo and Napa before moving to Woodacre in 1955. She was active with caring for the family, knitting, Valley 20, a group of women in the San Geronimo Valley; and volunteered at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Lagunitas. She had a special affection for dogs all of her life and quite a sense of humor. After the oldest six children completed high school, Gloria, Phil and daughter Gloria Rita moved to Northridge in 1976 due to a job transfer. They returned in 2003 to Rohnert Park.
