Gloria Lorraine Mello - Gloria Lorraine "Granny""" Mello passed away on May 30, 2009 at the age of 84. She was born in Santa Rosa on May 13, 1925 to David and Grace McClure. Loving mother of Diane Mello and the late Helen Mello. Loving grandmother of David Buzzard and Dawn Russell (Dennis). Loving great-grandmother of Valerie Buzzard, Jake Anderson and Anastaysia Buzzard. She was the sister of Jeanne Barnett McClure and the late David """Sonny""" McClure. Gloria was raised in Petaluma, graduating from Petaluma High in 1942. She raised her family in San Rafael where she was a homemaker for 55 years. She moved back to Petaluma 7 years ago to live with her family. She was formerly married to George Mello. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. ""
