GORDON WALKER II - Husband, father, grandfather, Real Estate Broker and Developer passed away suddenly Sunday, March 17 after a family gathering in Petaluma.
Gordon was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1927, and raised in Garden City, New York by his parents Gordon and Virginia Doing Walker. After attending Alfred University he moved to Houston to work for Jorgensen Steel. While in Texas, he was called to serve in the U.S. Army. Shortly thereafter he met his wife Mary Ann and their first son Reed was born.
In 1957 they move to Novato where their second and third sons Gordon III and Craig were born. Gordon's real estate and development career began there where he developed the Marin Golf & CC and many other projects.
Gordon and Mary Ann moved to Santa Rosa in 1987. Together they began a successful 20 year real estate partnership at Frank Howard Allen. They continued their journey in faith at the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa and truly became part of the community in Santa Rosa.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife and partner of 58 years Mary Ann. Sister Gina Baxter of Azle, Tx.; sons and daughters-in-law Reed & Leslie of Novato, Gordon & Marie of San Rafael and Craig & Jani of Petaluma; grandchildren Ryan, Elaina, Evelyn, Charles and Nicole.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 at the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Rosa, 1550 Pacific Avenue.
