Grace Mary Hall

A great spirit in this world has left us on May 3, 2021. Born Mary Grace Popich on Sept. 7, 1926 in San Francisco, CA. She was the fourth of five children to Andrew and Mathilda Popich. She reunites with her husband Bert Hall, son Bill Hall, son-in-law Harry Adkinson, parents, brother Fran Popich, sisters Ruth Connelly and Pat Bowdon. She is survived by her sister Katherine Popich, daughters Peggy (Glenn) White, Katherine Adkinson, Patricia (Darth) Elledge, grandchildren Michael Young and Tennessy Elledge, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grace was an integral part of many people's lives and the community. She founded the Optometrist Assistants Association, one of the first Girl Scout Troops in the Santa Rosa area as well as, Young Ladies Institute (YLI) at St. Rose Church. She always included everyone as a family and treated them with love and care. One of her greatest passions was making heartfelt delicious meals, bringing people together, for countless holidays and memorable experiences and everyone was invited. She is greatly loved and will be missed. A funeral mass will be conducted at St. Rose Catholic Church on Monday, May 10th at 11 am. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Following all County Covid protocols. In lieu of flowers, donations will be gratefully accepted at Starcross Monastic Community, www.starcross.org, in Grace Hall's name.
