Hakon Hansen - Passed away in his home of 62 years in Petaluma on September 29, 2011; he was 94 years old. Devoted husband of the late Helen Hansen. Cherished father of Kathy Thorne of Rohnert Park, Susan Kroft (Bill) of Penngrove, and the late Larry Hansen. Beloved grandfather of Julie James, Lori and Mike Lucey, Steve and Beth White, Bart and Terri Hansen, Matthew Kroft, Mark and Tamra Kroft, Marcie Kroft (late Bruce Meyer), and Billy Kroft. Adored great-grandfather of 12. Loving son of the late Marie and Carl Hansen. Dear brother of Elsie Ebbe and the late Ove Hansen and Henning Hansen. Hakon enjoyed painting and hard work. He and Helen loved to go fishing and spend time at the ocean, work in their garden and travel around the US. As per his request, there will not be a service.
