Passed away February 14, 2016 in Grass Valley, CA, at the age of 87.
Born in San Francisco, CA, October 14, 1928 and attended Sacred Heart High School in S.F. In 1950, he received his BA degree in English from USF, after which he joined the Naval Reserves and spent three years of active duty in Japan as a secretary to the Judge Advocate General. After his Naval duty, Harold went to UCLA and earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1961, and in 1962 started his residency at Sonoma County Hospital. In July 1964, Dr. Brown opened his office at 210 4th St. in Petaluma. He was active in his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Petaluma Valley Hospital and the Petaluma Library. Dr. Brown loved his community and his family, practicing medicine for over 35 years. He will be laid to rest beside his late wife, Junia Rae and daughter, Laura. He is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia Muller (Bill) and Victoria Brown; and two grandsons, Trent and Thad Barnard.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma, CA.
