Harold Chase

December 1, 1917 — April 8, 2007

Harold Chase - Died Easter Sunday, surrounded by family. Hal studied marketing at Bodin in the 1930s, fought in World War II and began his advertising career in 1946 at United Grocers. He worked on the MJB account at BBDOâ??s SF office in the 1950s after he and his wife Polla moved to SF. In the 1970s he moved to J. Walter Thompson where he worked on the Marine Account. After Earle Palmer Brown in the 90s, he came to Arnold International where he was employed when he passed on. Hal was the last of his generation from the Golden Era of Advertising. A member of St. Bartholomewâ??s in Bethesda, MD, he was a committed Christian. His friends will remember his many acts of charity. He is survived by 3 sons, Hal, Frank and Christian, their wives, Rosemarie, Jill and Leslie, grandsons Ian and Harrison and granddaughters Kimberly and Keriann. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with a Visitation from 10:00 A.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA (707) 763-4131. Interment: Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma, CA.
