Harold Albert Peter

Harold Albert Peter, a lifelong resident of Sonoma County, entered into rest at his home in Penngrove on October 23, 2013. Devoted husband of the late Frances Peter. Beloved father of Douglas Harold Peter (Pam Lassiter), Donald Roy Peter (Deanna) and Kenneth Joseph Peter (Tammy Svara). Cherished grandfather of James Douglas Peter, Joseph Kenneth Peter, Dillon James Peter, Jacob Frances Peter and Brandon Noah Peter. Beloved great-grandfather of Jamie Marie Peter. Caring brother of Virgil Peter, Sonny Peter, Joan Howard, Richard Peter and the late Helen Ortega and the late Evelyn Mason. Mr. Peter was the longtime owner and operator of Peter's Nursery. He was 85 years of age. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary. Interment will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Petaluma.
