Harold Edward Silva Sr.

Harold Edward "Curly" Silva Sr. - Passed away peacefully at his Penngrove home at the age of 87 with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his loving wife Edie Silva of more than 62 years. Adored father of Harold Silva Jr. (Candy) and Sherry Ferina (Marty). Cherished Papa of Suzanne (Torey) Berncich, Shelley Ferina, John Ferina, Aaron Thompson and Nick Silva. Devoted great grandfather of Dalton, Tanner, Karlie and Edward Berncich. Dedicated and loving lifelong friend of Toni Pimentel. Harold is the son of the late Harry and Clara Silva, late brother of Robert and Jim Silva. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to a gathering to visit with the family on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The family prefer that memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952 or to your favorite charity. Harold proudly served in WWII and was a member of Sonoma Site Seekers Camping Club, Sonoma Marin Italian Club, Sons of Italy, Petaluma and Vallejo Holy Ghost Society, Native Sons of the Golden West and the Teamsters. He enjoyed his weekly Wednesday coffee with the guys.
