Harold Welliver

Harold Welliver - Passed away on September 1, 2008 in Tulsa, OK with his family by his side after a brief illness. Devoted husband of the late Gloria S. Welliver. Cherished father of Barry Welliver and his wife Maggi of Draper, UT, Mora A. Kollman and her husband Walter of Owasso, OK, and the late Gail J. Welliver. Beloved grandfather of Sarah Welliver of Draper, UT; Adam and Brian Welliver of Beaverton, OR; and Amy and Nikolaus Kollman of Owasso, OK. Age: 84 years. Harold was born in Ames, IA on March 8, 1924, but raised in Millville, PA. During WWII and at the age of 17, he joined the US Navy as a Culinary Specialist. During his 20 year service, he travelled with his family to VA, MA, and Panama before settling in CT where he worked for the Federal prison system as food supervisor. After retirement, he moved to Petaluma to be near his son, Barry and his family. In 1995, Harold moved to OK to be near his daughter, Mora.
