Harold White

Harold White, resident of Oakmont, Santa Rosa, CA, passed away on April 2, 2018.  Devoted husband of the late Mary Louise White.  Cherished father of Debbie Pisani (Michael) of Walnut Creek and the late Terrance White.  Beloved grandfather of Allyson White, Mario Pisani, and Julian Pisani all of Walnut Creek.

Age: 91 years

A Member of: Star of the Valley Church, Past President of Star of the Valley Men’s Club, and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.

Harold was born in Oakland, CA on April 24, 1926.  He graduated from St. Elizabeth’s School in Oakland and later went on to USF where he received his teaching degree and Masters in Administration.  In between and during World War II, Harold joined the US Navy.  He proudly served his country and felt fortunate to have traveled the world.  Eventually, became a Junior High School principal and retired from Wells Intermediate in Dublin, CA in 1986.  He loved his teaching staff; they were his second family.  After retirement, Harold and Mary Louise moved to the Santa Rosa community of Oakmont.  During his years there, he enjoyed playing golf and traveling.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  They were the lights of his life, and he was always anxious to teach them how to golf.  He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at Star of the Valley Catholic Church, 545 White Oak Drive, Santa Rosa, CA.  The Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, CA.
