Harry E. Scoles - Harry Scoles passed away peacefully at his Petaluma residence on January 19, 2012. Longtime companion, for 24 years, of Pat Lanthier and her family of Petaluma. Father of Harry C. Scoles and his wife Barbara of Tigard, OR. Grandfather of Sean McIntosh and Kristine Ourada. Great-grandfather of 3. Survived by his dear sister, Mary LaRue Lehman of Santa Rosa. Uncle of Linda Smith and David Lehman both of Santa Rosa. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the Petaluma Veterans Memorial Hall, 1094 Petaluma Blvd. So., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952 or any Petaluma Veterans Assoc. in his memory. A proud Army veteran of WW II, he was stationed in Europe, landing on the Normandy coast on D Day. A long time member of VFW, Post 1929 and American Legion. Harry was the founder of DAV, Chapter 114 of Sonoma County.
