Harue Okazaki

HARUE OKAZAKI, born April 15, 1926, originally of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, at Primrose, where she had been cared for lovingly during the last 11 years. 

Harue was predeceased by her husband, Kenzo John Okazaki, brothers Mas, Jack and Kiyoshi Ono, and is survived by several nieces and nephews. She worked for years at Sonoma State, volunteered at Friends of the Rohnert Park-Cotati Library and was a member of Enmanji Buddhist Temple. Family and friends remember her love of gardening, reading, her beautiful smile and her generosity with anything she could share. 

On April 3, 2026, family held a private service at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma, where Harue is interred. Donations in her memory may be made to Enmanji Buddhist Temple, 116 HWY S, Sebastopol, CA 95472-4853.
