Helen Mary Fodness

Helen passed away peacefully at home in Petaluma CA October 29, 2024 at the age of 98. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 73 years Harold Fodness, her oldest son Robert Fodness and her oldest daughter Mary Halfen. She is survived by her children Daniel Fodness (Charmayne), Eileen Grant (Reggie), Karen Aggio (Anthony), Virginia Kirkland, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren with a 4th on the way. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of St Paul MN, she moved with her husband and children to CA in 1969. Helen and Harold loved the beautiful scenery and mild climate of CA. Helen’s door was always open to family, friends and neighbors. She was always willing to lend a helping hand. She had a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by many. To quote Helen “If you don’t laugh you’ll cry.” Per her request a private internment has been held.
