Helen Grace Godwin-Austen - Passed away August 16, 2007 in Santa Rosa at the age of 86. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Godwin-Austen. Beloved mother of Joseph, Pamela, and Debra Godwin-Austen, Sharon Solawetz, and the late Gregory Godwin-Austen. Adored grandmother of Brendan and Ashley Boyd, Eric and Geoff Godwin-Austen, Randy, Ron, and Steve McCullough, and the late Dan McCullough. Loving sister of Katherine Tawney, and the late Verna Hafele, Margaret Foreman, and Peter Smith. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews A Member of the Spirited Seniors at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Helen was born and raised in Bowman, ND and educated in Seattle, WA. She was a fervent collector, gathering crystal and silver antiques, dolls, teddy bears, 1st edition books, and jewelry. She was a sports fanatic, especially loving baseball, football, and hockey.
